How to Fix ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED Error in Google Chrome

The solution is as unspecific as to the reason behind the ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED error. But, there is no need to panic, as we have briefly described every method to fix this internet issue in your system.  Follow the steps we have mentioned in this article properly, and fix this error.

Method 1: Fix Local Area Network Settings

According to many of our users, one of the very common reasons because of which the error ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED can occur in your system is some automatic change in Local Area Network i.e. LAN settings of your system. But, there is no need to worry as this can be simply fixed by modifying these changes in settings, and then you will be able to use your internet again. Clear Browsing Data on Firefox:

Clear Browsing Data on Google Chrome:

Step 4: Now, a new window will pop-up, click on the Time range drop-down menu and select the All-time option from it and check all the checkboxes there.

Once the Antivirus is uninstalled from your system, go and check if you can access the internet connection now. If yes, then the error is because of your antivirus software. From here, you have two options, you can either reinstall it and remove the restriction on the internet connection, or you can download a free antivirus software such as AVG, which can do the same job as any other software.
