As of now, it has been reported that Afton Ferris is doing her term in prison, therefore she is currently in jail. According to Distractify, she received a sentence of life in jail plus fifty years for her crime.
Accordingly, it appears that she will never again see the outside world. Six charges, including murder, home invasion, and armed robbery, were reportedly brought against her and judged to be true.
Both she and her lover and accomplice Michael received life sentences. He is also serving for the crime he committed. The duo together slaughtered innocent single mothers.
The first episode of Snapped will include this murder investigation. This pair has been called “the deadly couple” as well. The crimes they committed were weird and infuriating because they killed women who aided them in their terrible times.
