However, it appears that players will have to wait a little longer to enter The Forest once more and battle cannibalistic mutants, as the game has been postponed for a second time.
Twitter post from Endnight Games: “Due to the scope of our new game Sons of the Forest, it has been hard to pinpoint a precise release date, and today we have to delay one last time.”

Sons of the Forest Release Date
The official release date for Sons of the Forest is set for February 23, 2023.
The game’s original release window was May 2022, and subsequent release windows were October 2022 and now the present date. Now that we have a firm release date and pricing, it appears that this will be the final delay Endnight Games announces.
Where can I get Sons of the Forest, and What Formats does it come in?
This, like many other aspects of Sons of the Forest, is being kept under wraps for the time being. However, it appears highly likely that you’ll be able to play Sons of the Forest on PC at launch, with a port to PS4 and PS5 consoles possible in the future.
The Forest was initially released on Microsoft Windows and was later ported to PlayStation. It stands to reason that Xbox and Nintendo Switch would likewise host Sons of the Forest, but at this time we have no confirmation either way.
