Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi Dating
While Nate’s destructive connection with Maddy in the first season was more comparable to a “drama,” Elordi told Entertainment Weekly that he plays the new relationship like a “romantic film.”
The 6-foot-5 actor gushes over Sydney Sweeney, who plays his on-screen girlfriend, saying, “We became a bit of a Bonnie and Clyde.”
Working with [Sweeney] was a pleasure from start to finish since she is so skilled at her craft and I was always paired up with her when I was in the office.
Every time she’s on set, she gives 100% in her scenes. And there are always dramatic sequences involving her, but we had a blast anyhow. From the very first encounter, we were able to explore with a wide variety of dynamic possibilities.
Nate, the resident bad boy of Eastland High School, may have romantic visions of a life with Cassie complete with white picket fences, but Elordi warns that Nate has a skewed understanding of love due in part to his troubled upbringing.
