Still no word on whether or not The Testament of Sister New Devil will return for a third season. Six years have passed since the airing of the second season, and while there is still material to adapt from the now-complete manga series, the fate of a third season remains in question.

Despite this, it is not completely out of the question for a third season of The Testament of Sister New Devil to be made, given the show was somewhat well-liked within its niche audience. We just can’t predict when it might occur.

Everything we know and don’t know about a third season of The Testament of Sister New Devil is about to be revealed to you. The future of this amazing anime series is still a bit uncertain, but you’ll learn about possible release dates, trailers, prospective story topics, and more.

Whether or not a third season of The Testament of Sister New Devil will be made is an open question.

Tetsuto Uesu penned the original light novel, while Nekosuke kuma drew the accompanying manga. Kadokawa Shoten released the first volume on September 29, 2012 under the title Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko; as of April 1, 2018, a total of thirteen volumes had been released.

From May 25, 2013, to April 26, 2017, Kashiwa Miyako’s manga adaption ran in Kadokawa Shoten’s Monthly Shnen Ace magazine.

Nine tankbon volumes collecting the various chapters were released between October 26, 2013, and July 25, 2017. Seven Seas Entertainment was granted the rights to distribute the show in North America.

This time it’s The Testament of Sister New Devil: Storm, a manga adaptation. serialised in Hakusensha’s Young Animal Arashi from February 7, 2014, to May 6, 2016, and drawn by Fumihiro Kiso.

There are a total of five tankbon volumes containing these chapters, released between September 29, 2014 and August 29, 2016. The rights in North America were also purchased by Seven Seas Entertainment.

The anime adaptation, created by Production IMS and directed by Hisashi Sait, was first announced in the May 2014 issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s Monthly Dragon Age. It ran from January 7 to March 25, 2015. Blade of Hope by sweet ARMS and “Still Sis” by Kaori Sadohara served as the episode’s intro and outro, respectively.

On July 1, 2015, an OVA episode was released alongside the eighth volume of the light novels. While Crunchyroll streamed the episodes simultaneously in several regions, Madman Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand purchased the rights to both streaming and home video distribution.

The second season of the anime, titled The Testament of Sister New Devil BURST, premiered on Crunchyroll on October 9 and concluded on December 11, 2015, with English subtitles. On January 26, 2016, alongside the restricted release of the seventh volume of the manga, a new OVA episode was also released.

Although the future of the anime adaptation of The Testament of Sister New Devil is questionable at the present, this is not due to a lack of desire or potential storylines.

Since we don’t know how much of an interest there is in continuing the series, we can’t make any solid predictions concerning its future.

The light novel and manga were successful, and fans were pleased with the first two seasons of the anime, but it has been some time since we heard anything about the show’s continuation.

If there is going to be a third season, it won’t premiere until late 2023 at the earliest, and we won’t know anything about it until at least 2022 or 2023. 2024 is also a strong possibility. As for whether or not there will be a new season, that remains to be seen; at yet, cancellation has not been confirmed, but it cannot be ruled out either.

We have to Wonder, what could Season 3 of The Testament of Sister New Devil Possibly Entail?

Basara Tj’s father, Jin Tj, announces unexpectedly one day that he would remarry, bringing with her two children, Mio and Maria Naruse, whom Basara has never met. They move in right away, and after some initial bumps, he and she end up getting along great.

Basara’s new sisters, Mio (the future demon queen) and Maria (a succubus and Mio’s bodyguard), expose themselves to be demons when their father also has to leave for work as a photographer, leaving Basara alone with them.

Maria claims that she did nothing more than put the seed of his future bride in Basara’s father’s mind and that she and her family intend to wipe Basara’s memory of them in order to make Basara’s home their own.

Last Words

Unfortunately, this backfires, and now both Basara and his father, who was in the know, are disowned by the hero family. Mio, the son of the last Demon King, is the target of the current one, his father explains to him.
