The official trailer for Season 2 of the teen survival show “The Wilds,” premiering this spring on Amazon’s Prime Video, has been revealed.

Sarah Streicher’s “The Wilds” follows a group of young girls as they struggle to make it on a mysterious isolated island after surviving an aircraft accident.

Women’s empowerment programme Dawn of Eve director Gretchen Klein (Rachel Griffiths) has the eight teenagers involved in a bizarre social experiment.

The girls stranded on the island are played by Sophia Ali, Shannon Berry, Jenna Clause, Reign Edwards, Mia Healey, Helena Howard, Erana James, and Sarah Pidgeon, and FBI agents David Sullivan and Troy Winbush appear in flashforwards after the group is rescued.

In Season 2 of “The Wilds,” the girls find out about a second island where a fake crash involving a bunch of adolescent guys took place.

The series will compare the eight males’ group tensions and challenges with those of the primary group of girls, played by Zack Calderon, Aidan Laprete, Nicholas Coombe, Charles Alexander, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Reed Shannon, Tanner Ray Rook, and Alex Fitzalan.

In the preview, a voiceover says, “I’ve got a terrific story for you.” As the old saying goes, “Once upon a time, two plane crashes were faked. Everyone who was a victim was dosed and then left on two separate islands. Double eights on either side. Although it was possible that figure would change.

In addition to Amy Harris, Streicher serves as an executive producer for “The Wilds.” The series is a co-production between Amazon Studios and ABC Signature, with executive producers including the late Jamie Tarses of FanFare and Dylan Clark of Dylan Clark Productions.
