A Nurse’s Job isn’t Easy.
It requires lots of strength, both physical and emotional which others may not be able to handle. After a doctor performs surgery on his patient, the nurse looks after the patient and help him with his daily life activities.
Now a days it is extremely difficult to find doctors who would visit home to meet with their patient. But you can still find at home nurses who would visit the patient house for some hours to help them.

Nurses are professionals who are well educated, skilled and knowledgeable. There are nurses who are specialized in a particular field but, they are also required to have some basic knowledge about other areas so that they can help in case of an emergency.
For example in a hospital a nurse who works for pediatrician should have some basic knowledge about elder people so that whenever there is a shortage of nurses, they can pitch in and help.
Along with diverse medical knowledge, nurses also have great communication skills. The way they communicate with the patient, it makes them feel welcome and heard.
During the Covid pandemic, along with doctors they also had to stand on their foot and work for long hours without little to no breaks in between. In this uncertain period, they were not able to meet their family for days.
One of the hardest part of being a nurse is to face death of a patient right in front of their eyes. When a nurse takes care of a patient for long period of time, they both build a strong emotional bond which makes it extremely difficult for the nurse to say goodbye.
While being devastated, a nurse helps the patient’s family in the process of grief. Despite of this they still have to show up for work daily.

They also have to deal with people who are disrespectful and still have to care for them. This shows how selfless nurses are.
