Suddenly, one of the most popular police officers on TikTok stopped posting. And both supporters and detractors are baffled as to why.

Charlie Kingery, a police officer, is as influential in the force as he can get. When A&E originally spotlighted Kingery, he was a reserve officer and SWAT team member for the Lawrence Police Department. Shortly after George Floyd’s murder in 2020, the show was cancelled.

Why Was Officer Kingery Banned From Tiktok

It had chronicled the routine traffic stops and emergency calls made by police officers. Before the show was cancelled, Kingery appeared alongside other law enforcement professionals and was later followed by an A&E crew.

Kingery had Amassed 2.4 Million Followers on his TikTok

Kingery had a great time working on the show, and the success of his viral dance videos while in uniform in February 2020 inspired him to launch his own TikTok channel. By September 2021, Kingery had amassed 2.4 million followers on his TikTok account “@officer kingery,” according to Current Publishing.

As she proceeded to expand her horizons beyond TikTok, Officer Kingery did the same. Thin Line Apparel, named after the mythical “thin blue company” that police are supposed to uphold, is a clothing and merchandise line he launched to show support for law enforcement.

Over time, he also began performing stand-up comedy while on the road with the conservative, law enforcement-led band Content Violation.

The Claims of Sexual Assault Against Kingery

On Wednesday, November 3rd, due to “extenuating circumstances,” Content Violation called off their performances in Cleveland and Dayton, Ohio. As of the following day, Agent Kingery’s social media accounts were unreachable.

Whether or not the claims against Kingery have caused Content Violation to cancel its programmes is currently unclear; nevertheless, it seems likely that Kingery cancelled his account in response to the accusations.

Soon after a TikTok video was uploaded by Jessi “Flawless Lawless,” a conservative influencer and stylist, Kingery deleted his account. She says on the video that she knows “it happens to other individuals” and that she “encourages others to come forward” as she details being harassed and sexually assaulted by an unnamed police officer.

Flawless Lawless was asked by a commenter to specify whether the video was about Agent Eudy, Agent Scales, or Content Violation Agent Kingery.

Later that day (Thursday), Flawless Lawless posted a second video in which he noted that Kingery had deactivated his TikTok account immediately after his own video had gone viral.

While Lawless is the most prominent accuser, other women in the more conservative corner of TikTok have also levelled assault allegations against Kingery. The influential TikTok user @theconservativebarbie has revealed two anonymous accounts that allege Kingery sexually abused and assaulted them during performances.

The team at We Got This Covered also saw a video in which a conservative influencer said that Kingery had sexually harassed her and that he frequently harassed and targeted women on his shows. The banner featuring the video was eventually taken down.

Kingery originally took to TikTok to address the claims made against him before he deleted his account later.

The police officer, identified only as “Kingery,” writes that TikTok has “transformed” him and added “negativeness and turmoil” to his life. He disputed the charges of sexual assault and harassment, saying, “I have never sexually attacked anyone in my life, and it saddens me to have to say it.”

A transcript of the original video quotes him as saying, “I know who I am, those who know me know who I am.”

Last Words

Despite the fact that Kingery has not been formally charged, this is not the officer’s first time facing allegations of violent behaviour.

After a confrontation with a bystander who intervened in a fight between Kingery and his wife, the police officer was legally charged with assault and violence before appearing on Live PD. According to Fox 59, Kingery’s wife said the fight started over “an affair.”

Whether or not Kingery will return to TikTok in the near future, or how he will respond, is unknown.
