Although this was meant for the public and someone watched it due to the entertainment value, we looked at it to understand how durable the smartphone is.
The new smartphone is also known as the iPhone 13 Pro has a lot of claims that have been made by Apple. They have said that the phone included a tough ceramic shield display, stainless steel side, and a glass display.
Now that sounds like the phone is very fragile but it is not. Apple had claimed that the ceramic shield display is a lot more useful and that it can take the brutality of dropping the phone from a big height. They also claimed that they have increased the strength of the phone.
But this test was a bit different. He did not just drop the phone from a height in order for the drop test. He likes to do things a bit differently so he decided to hit the display with a three-pound hammer.
If you look at the video then you will see that it does not break easily at all. The screen did endure the light taps to some pretty heavy hits. But finally, after some continuous hitting, the phone did give away and finally cracked. But that was to be expected anyway.
However, in no real-life situation is your phone going to be hammered like that. That too at so many times. So you can chill. No phone can handle that many hits from a three-pound hammer and at such force. The conclusion is that the phone is pretty durable.
Even though at the end of the video he was successful in smashing the phone along with the screen, this is not going to happen in any real-life situation where you drop the phone by accident. So you can rest assured about your iPhone 13 pro breaking.
