Method 1: Invoke Steam in Admin Mode
The error message suggests that Steam needs access to administrative files; if this is the case, running the Steam client as an administrator may fix the problem.
Step 1: Find the Steam executable or shortcut on your computer, right-click on its item anywhere (Desktop, Start menu, Search results window), and select Properties from the contextual menu that appears.
Step 2: Proceed to the Compatibility tab of the Properties window, and then tick the checkbox next to Run this programme as an administrator.
Step 3: You should now be able to launch Steam with administrative privileges at the next startup, so long as you confirm any confirming dialogues that may display. Simply double-clicking Steam’s icon will launch the programme, so you may test whether or not the Steam Service Error reappears after relaunching the game.
Method 2: See to it That The Steam Service Fires Up Mechanically
The Steam Service needs to be active for any Steam-related functionality to be available. Even though this service is supposed to begin running whenever Steam is launched, this is not always the case. For that reason, it is recommended that you configure your computer to launch this service immediately upon boot.
Step 1: The Windows Key plus the letter R on your keyboard will bring up the Run dialogue box. To access Services, type “services.msc” (without the quotation marks) into the Run box and hit Enter or click the OK button. It’s also possible to locate Windows 10 Services with a simple Start menu search.
Step 2: You may change the settings for the Steam Client Service by finding it in the list of services, right-clicking on it, and then selecting Properties from the menu that appears.
Step 3: If the service is already running, as indicated by the Service status message, then you can shut it down by clicking the Stop button in the window’s centre. If it has already been turned off, there is no need to restart it (for now).
Step 4: Before continuing with the steps, ensure that Automatic is selected in the Startup type menu found in the Steam Client Service’s settings. When choosing a startup method, confirm any prompts that arise. Press the window’s central Start button before closing it.

Step 3: When finished, click OK, and then enter the password in the Password box. It ought should now begin without further ado!
Method 3: Make Steam’s Client Service Better.
Unfortunately, the Steam client service is prone to malfunction, and when it does, a quick command on the command prompt is all that’s needed to get things back up and running.
Using this command, you can hopefully get around the Steam Service Error and into the Steam client.
Step 1: Windows users can open the Run dialogue box by pressing the Windows logo key plus the letter R. To launch Command Prompt as an administrator, press Ctrl + Shift + Enter after typing “cmd” in the resulting dialogue box.
Step 2: In addition, you’ll need to navigate to the primary Steam folder so you can issue the command. If you right-click the Desktop shortcut and select Open file location from the context menu, you’ll be taken to the complete path.
Step 3: The path will be displayed upon clicking the address bar at the top of the folder; then, simply press Ctrl + C to copy it to the Clipboard. You should find “C:Program Files (x86)SteambinSteamService.exe” as the default location. Let’s just type in the command into the standard prompt. In order for the command to work, you must replace it with the actual route you want to use.
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe” /repair
Step 4: Close Steam and open it back up to see whether the error has been resolved.
